GOD'S BARN

Have you notice the "Tin Shack" on the church property next to the youth room?

We have named it "GOD'S BARN". A storage facility for donations to be distributed to the poor or those in need. Everything in it comes from various sources, sometimes the church sometimes from members of the church. We are always looking for donations, so please see the section "How can I help?" and make donations via the church office to God's barn.

The food parcels and products we currently have in God's Barn mainly go to Emthonjeni to support the ARV program there, quiet a lot have been used in the Xenophobia relief that has taken place recently through the Haven, Zandspruit, Cosmo City. Some are used to support families in the church. Wherever we see a need and are able to support we try to help.

FOOD PARCELS & DIGNITY PACKS

One food parcel contains conservatively 20 servings. The food items are seen as a staple diet by the World Health Organization (WHO). Products like Shampoo, Soap, Tissues, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, deodorant, lip ice, towels, sanitary ware, are kept to make up what I call a DIGNITY PACK, a percentage goes to support the Prison Ministries. We are always in need of more of these items, especially sanitary towels for the ladies.
