WELL DONE VALLEY VINEYARD
In fulfilling part of the vision of the Compassion Ministry of “sharing the love of Christ Jesus to our community and beyond with practical resources” I would like to let you know some of what has been happening in the Compassion Ministry over the past few months.
R80 000 FOR ZIMBABWE
Over December and January the Vineyard SA put out a call for financial support for the Zimbabwe churches and close to R80000.00 was raised.
Valley Vineyard Compassion Ministry in relationship with Vineyard Pastors, the Valley OT and NECSA (National….) we were able to organise the practical resources so badly needed by our fellow brothers and sisters in that nation.
20000 SERVINGS OF FOOD
20000 servings of food have been delivered to Zimbabwe, along with other food stuffs like flour, bread flour, sugar, salt and baby formula, there has also been medical supplies, shoes, clothing, water purifying agents and cash distributed.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES
In February this year Terxia and the Haven had a 12 meter container of medical supplies supplied to them from the HOPE FOUNDTION, our tiny little barn on the VALLEY premises was quickly emptied and by the power of many hands we were able to offload some R2 MILLION worth of goods into the barn, to date Terxia and the Haven have distributed 50% of these resources to the community where they are desperately needed, The Haven hold baby bathing days in communities around us on a weekly basis, touching and influencing the lives of many with the love of Jesus.
1200 FOOD PARCELS FROM THE BARN
We have distributed 1200 food parcels out of the Barn, and these parcels have gone to members of our church, our community and beyond even into Zimbabwe. We have financially supported families, helped educate the youth, provided transport for members to make Sunday services, we are looking at placing containers on the property for storage facilities for food, clothes, blankets and medical supplies and are currently working at supporting the HeartWork Prison Ministry with their graduation gift bags.
THANK YOU
• A large thank you to Aubrey and his family
• Thank you for all who have supported this ministry in your prayers and with your time, energy, financial and practical resources.
• Thank you to our wonderful Lord, who has found favour on us as a church to serve Him in this way, my hope is that He would open many more doors for us to go and Love His people in our community, city, province, nation and continent.
To Jesus be the Glory
Shalom,
